So I saw Sonic Superstars on sale a while ago and have been playing it on and off. I just finished it tonight. Some spoilers follow. It’s a gameplay-focused 2D Sonic game from a year ago though so I didn’t bother to tag them.
My lasting impression of this game is that every aspect of it is… fine. The gameplay is fine, music is fine (which is honestly disappointing for a Sonic game), level design is fine. "Mid" is also an apt description though in common parlance these days that term feels…
